With the 3cast® process, Evosteel has the advantage of being able to use almost any steel casting material. The range of steels produced to date includes the following applications:
- Heat-treated steels that can be optimally customised to particular strength requirements using specific heat treatments (e.g. 1.7225, 1.1133)
- Duplex and stainless steels, characterised by their outstanding strength perfectly balanced with high ductility and corrosion resistance (e.g. N19D)
- High-temperature resistant steels that can withstand the high power densities in the construction of modern engines and power trains (e.g. 1.4848, 1.4849)
