ENGINEERING
With our engineering platform we are your competent partners for the design, development and optimisation of your cast components. Before we actually fill our moulds with the molten metal at a temperature of 1600°C we will already have cast your components virtually many times.
Simulation tools such as MAGMAsoft® enable quick insight into the production process and help us to avoid casting faults and to establish and adapt the process parameters. There is constant feedback to our design department, which is equipped with CATIAV5. Within the design process, components are checked and optimised using FEM calculations.
CAD/CAE-supported engineering in combination with rapid prototyping means fast development times for components. Once the components have been developed, prototypes and sample components ready for the test bench can be manufactured within a few days using sand moulds produced using the Generis Sand process or – with limited usability – master patterns generated in the stereolithography process.
