PRECISION CAST SYMPOSIUM (8th April 2008)

„Casting at the limits - process reliability in the markets of tomorrow“, this was the titel of the symposium which was organized for the first time by the saxonian initiative Precision Cast. The saxonian casting industry met in the new town hall of Leipzig to discuss the present and future demands of the casting branch. The symposium was opend by Burkhard Jung, mayor of Leipzig. Referees came from the universities of Aachen and Freiberg as well as from the regional casting enterprises. Among them was Evosteel‘s managing director Dr. Jens Schreiner who presented the new prospects of thin-walled steel casting.
