RANGE OF APPLICATIONS FOR THE 3CAST® PROCESS

The 3cast® process means the opening up of new areas of application for cast steel components.  Whilst large, complex components can only be manufactured reliably with a wall thickness greater than 6 mm using conventional steel casting processes, with 3cast® technology it is possible to produce complex, thin-walled cast steel components with walls as thin as sheet metal.

This advantage is complemented by the high quality of the products, resulting from the precise control of the casting parameters: pressure, flow speed and temperature.

The components which will be produced by Evosteel in the future range from bionically designed thin-walled cast steel components to process-optimised steel castings with walls up to 20 mm thick and weights per unit from 0.5 to 100 kg. Steel with unlimited possibilities!
